The Mona Shores girls soccer team shutout O-K Green Conference Rival Zeeland West, defeating them 3-0 in OK Green action Tuesday night.
Bri Wade scored two goals as well as assisting on the other goal, which was scored by Riley Rosenthal. Rosenthal also recorded an assist on one of Wade’s goals. Lauren Hylland, Annie Anderson, Molly Wolf, and Kennedy McCombs played good overall defense to help the Sailors on the way to the win.
The Sailors are now 10-2 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the O-K Green
WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE
NORTH MUSKEGON 9, HART 0 – Emily Olsen scored a three-goal hat trick to lead the Norse to a league win on Tuesday.
Syann Fairfield added two goals for North Muskegon, while Hope Johnson, Audrey Wilson, Molly Stewart and Grace Vander Woude each scored a goal of their own.
Katie Kinahan assisted on two of North Muskegon’s goals.
The Norse improved to 10-1 for the season, with a 5-0 record in the West Michigan Conference play.
WHITEHALL 2, SHELBY 1 – The Vikings defeated the Tigers in West Michigan Conference action on Tuesday night.
Maggie Evans scored both Whitehall goals, scoring her first of a penalty kick 20 minutes into the first half.
Evans added her second goal with 13 minutes left in the second half off of a redirected free kick.
Lindsey Harvell scored Shelby’s only goal 15 minutes into the second half. Morgan Frees assisted the goal.
