Wednesday soccer roundup: Kyah McGruther has huge game in Orchard View victory

Kyah McGruther led Orchard View with four goals and two assists on Wednesday night in a 8-0 victory over Muskegon.

Also scoring for the Cardinals were Kylee Carmean, Aubrien Coleman, Aleya Jones and Cassidy Noordhoek who also had an assist.

In total, Orchard View outshot Muskegon 23-1 on the night.

KENT CITY 1, TRI COUNTY 1 – The Kent City girls soccer team tied 1-1 with Tri County on Wednesday night in a conference clash.

Emily Lantzer scored the lone goal for the Eagles who are now 3-4-1 overall on the season.

LUDINGTON 8, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 0 – The Orioles improved to 9-3 overall and 5-0 in conference play with a victory.

Marte Rossebo scored twice for the Orioles while Hailey Stowe, Sophia Cooney, Kendall Biggs, Riley Stone, Maddi Martin and Evelyn Pearson all scored one goal.

Riley Stowe, Marte Rossebo, Leonie Dahm and Keelyn Laird all had one assist.

SPRING LAKE 2, FRUITPORT 0 – Meah Bajt had two goals to help Spring Lake take down crosstown rival Fruitport on Wednesday.

Bajt was assisted by Ella Andree and Eryn Bouwhuis on the night.

Jessica Stewart picked up the shutout victory in net.
