Wednesday soccer roundup: Montague and Ludington each win by three in conference victories

The Montague girls soccer team defeated Shelby 4-1 on Wednesday night behind two goals and two assists from Emma Jensen.

Also scoring for the Wildcats were Katie Nutall and Kendall Osborne while Emma Peterson added an assist.

The lone Shelby goal was scored by Kendall Zaverl who was assisted by Haydee Pedroza.

Montague is now 11-4 on the season and 5-2 in conference play.

LUDINGTON 3, MANISTEE 0 – Marte Rossebo led the Orioles with a goal and an assist in the victory.

Also scoring for Ludington were Anna Wietrzykowski and Hailey Stowe while Ayden Genter also had an assist.

Ludington is now 14-4 overall and finishes 8-0 in conference play.
