Maggie Evans scored a three-goal hat trick, leading the Whitehall girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Shelby on Wednesday in a Division 2 district semifinal game.
The three goals by Evans, each unassisted, broke Whitehall’s all-time career goal record of 76, which was held by Hanna Evans, Whitehall goalie Shelbie Noel posted the shutout, making one save.
The Vikings now advance to play Big Rapids on Friday in the district championship game.
