The Fruitport soccer team won just two games during the regular season, but is getting hot at the right time.

The Trojans have now pulled off back-to-back upsets in district play with a 3-1 win over Ludington Thursday night in a Division 2 district semifinal game.

Fruitport went just 2-12 during the regular season before beating Coopersville to open district play and then the Orioles Thursday night. Ludington finishes the season 15-6.

The Trojans did not send in stats from Thursday’s game. They will advance to play Spring Lake in the district final Saturday at 3 p.m.
