The Reeths-Puffer baseball team closed out the regular season with a dominant 11-1 win over Fruitport on Thursday.

Kendall Smith got the start on the mound for the Rockets, allowing just two hits and striking out four. 

The Rockets scored 10 runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings combined to pull away. Trent Reichert led the charge with three hits and two RBI.

Jaxson Whitaker and Brody Panozzo both had a pair of hits. Jordan Bochenek reached base twice, including an RBI double.

Reeths-Puffer finishes the regular season 22-10, including 13-7 in conference play. The Rockets will host Grand Haven in a district semifinal Saturday at noon.
