The West Michigan Whitecaps dropped their fourth straight game, losing 2-0 to Lansing at home on Tuesday night.
Lansing scratched across a run in the seventh inning on a wild pitch before a RBI double by Jordan Diaz in the eighth inning made the score 2-0.
Spencer Torkelson and Daniel Cabrera each had two hits on the night to lead the Whitecaps offense which finished with six hits total on the night.
Starting pitcher Jesus Rodriguez picked up a no-decision, allowing just three hits and striking out four over six scoreless innings.
The Whitecaps are now 16-14 overall on the season and will continue their homestand against Lansing on Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
