The LSJ’s 2021 High School Football Preview section is nearing completion. The 40-page booklet is looking as colorful as ever.

With defending state champions Mona Shores and Montague gearing up to take the field along side all the other greater Muskegon area teams, this season has story book written all over it.

The Cardinals’ varsity football team will not be taking the field this year.

As the LSJ continues to generate the materials that capture the top moments for high school athletes, remember there is a student who has been disappointed in what looks like loss. As a neighbor, a friend or relative, remind that individual, the opportunities only stop when believing is taken away.

Muskegon Catholic is a team that hinges on believing they will be back at the top of the mountain this season and is yet again embarking on hitting gold and reaching Ford Field in November.
