The Mona Shores boys soccer team used a balanced scoring effort and solid play from goalie Tyler Ross to take 5-2 win over visiting Forest Hills on Tuesday.
Ross made three key saves down the stretch to lift the Sailors who are now 1-0-1.
Five different players scored for Mona Shores in the even attack.
Diego Godoy led the Sailors with two goals and an assist while Ibrahim Ndiaye had a goal and an assist.
Alex Eckerman and Kaden Pulaski each added goals while Dan Vanderploeg had an assist for Mona Shores.
The Sailors next host Fruitport on Thursday with a 4:30 PM kickoff.
