The Montague Wildcats volleyball team dropped three matches on Monday at a quad in Allendale.

Montague dropped a 25-22, 25-16 decision to Zeeland East in the opener before falling to state-ranked Western Michigan Christian 25-19, 25-18 in the second match. Host Allendale topped the Wildcats 25-18, 25-14  in the final match of the day.

Montague was led by Peyton Johnson with eight aces and Ally Collins with 7. Johnson led the way in kills with 15 and blocks with three. Jaelyn Sundberg had 42 sets. Morgan Netcott finished with 33 digs.

The Wildcats next go on the road to face North Muskegon today at 6:30 p.m.
