Muskegon Catholic volleyball cruised past Black River in four sets in a nonleague match on Wednesday.

The Crusaders won 25-16, 23-25, 25-12 and 25-19 and are now 6-2 overall this season.

Erin Lavigne led MCC’s attack with 8 aces, 14 kills and 2 blocks. Claire Lavigne had 3 aces, 9 kills, 13 assists, and 9 digs.

Elana Laguire had 3 aces and 9 digs, Emma Maierhauser had 3 aces and 11 digs and Cara Burkall had 6 kills and 3 blocks.

MCC next competes on Saturday at the Fremont Round Robin.
