Spring Lake girls golf team finishes third at OK Blue opener

The Spring Lake Lakers captured third place in the first OK Blue Conference girls golf jamboree of the
season.

The tournament was played at Spring Lake Country Club.

Freshman Zoe Dull and sophomore Clara Saunders each carded a 50 to lead the Lakers. Junior Kayden
Fritsche wasn’t far behind with a 52 and sophomore Gabby Vasquez and senior Kelsey Megley each
finished at 53. Rounding out the scoring for Spring Lake was Clare Stempky with a 55.

The Lakers return to action Friday in another jamboree, which will be hosted by Coopersville.
