Newly resurfaced courts at Fremont did help the Packers boys tennis team in its 7-1 loss to Western Michigan Christian on Wednesday.
Fremont was led by Joey DeLong at No. 1 singles with scores of 7-5 and 6-3.
The Packers travel to take on Cedar Springs on Friday.
