Both Fremont and Mona Shores cross country teams competed in the Cougar Falcon Invitational on Saturday at the Gainey Athletic Complex.

Fremont boys took third place in Division 2, placing three runners in the top 20.

Conor Somers led the way for the Packers placing fourth individually with a time of 16:05.

Brennan Schuler ran a personal best for the Packers, finishing in 11th place at 16:50 and Gavin Schuler placed 16th with a new personal best.

Taava Johnson turned in one of the best races of her career recording a season record of 21:15 to place 22nd for the Packers.

The Sailors girls finished sixth in Division 1 while the boys took tenth.

Robyn Hunt and Cecilia Conrad led the Sailors taking ninth and 19th, respectively.

Mona Shores runs again on Wednesday in an O-K Green Jamboree and Fremont will take part in an CSAA Gold Jamboree on Tuesday.
