Fremont volleyball team wins marathon in five-game battle against Central Montcalm

The Fremont volleyball team secured a hard fought, five-game victory that went down to the wire against Central Montcalm on Tuesday.

The Packers captured the deciding fifth set with a 15-12 win, ending a two hour long battle between the two teams.

Alexis Lacount and Kaitlynn Bennett led the offense with 16 kills a piece. Carle Bruggem dished up 43 assists. Kennedy Christoffersen chipped in 13 digs.

In the win, the Packers move to 2-0 in the CSAA and 14-12-1 on the season.
