The Hart Pirates swept there second consecutive West Michigan Conference Cross Country Meet on Tuesday afternoon, held at Montague High School.

The Pirate girl’s, ranked #1 in the Lower Pennisula, Division 3, Associated Press Polls, took top team honors, placing four girl’s in the top ten runner’s. Leading the way for Hart and taking top honor’s, was sophomore, Alyson Enns, with a time of 18:30.10. She was followed by Pirate teammates Jessica Jazwinski and Audrianna Enns. Other local top ten finisher’s included; Gabriella Wingard (4th/North Muskegon), Emma Soelberg (5th/Shelby), Carolyn Bennett (6th/North Muskegon), Lexie Beth Nienhuis (7th/Hart), Hayli Fagan (8th/Whitehall), Isabelle Auch (9th/Montague) and Ryann Jobson (10th/Whitehall).

Hart won the meet with team score of (22), followed by; Whitehall (45), Oakridge (111), Montague (127), Shelby (128), Mason County Central (135) and Ravenna (165).

In boy’s action, Hart, ranked #2 in the Lower Pennisula, Division 3, Associated Polls, would take top team honor’s, placing four runner’s in the top ten. They would finish with a team score of (28), followed by; Whitehall (54), North Muskegon (95), Montague (96), Mason County Central (99) and Ravenna (155).

Leading the way for the Pirates and taking top individual honor’s was, junior, Clayton Ackley with a time of 16:38.00. He was followed by teammate, Noah Bosley and Andre Richmond of Whitehall. Other top ten finisher’s included; Wyatt Dean (4th/Hart), Jude Meldrum-Roy (5th/North Muskegon), Riley Buys (6th/Whitehall), Carter McIIroy (7th/Whitehall), Owen Fairchild (8th/Montague), Peyton Ruel (9th/ Oakridge) and Seth Ackley (10th/Hart).
