No. 14 Ludington Orioles boys soccer team competed in a powerhouse double header on Saturday against Fruitport and GR Northview.
The No. 14 ranked Orioles played to a 0-0 draw against undefeated and No. 4 ranked Fruitport and followed up with a 2-0 loss to GR Northview. 
Keeper Tiler Marrison posted the shutout against Fruitport with 13 saves on 13 shots in their opening match.
Splitting goalkeeper duties in the second game, Marrison had three saves on three shots and Ryan Millspaugh made seven saves on nine shots.
Ludington falls to 11-2-1 on the season and will visit West Michigan Christian on Tuesday for a Lakes 8 battle while Fruitport climbs to 9-0-2 and will travel to Reeths-Puffer for their O-K Black Conference matchup.
