Mona Shores volleyball plays Zeeland East tough in two games, but falls in three

Mona Shores volleyball fell to Zeeland East on Thursday in an O-K Green matchup. The Sailors played the chix tough in two of its three games, falling 27-25, 25-14, and 25-23.

Mona Shores was led by Grace Norris with nine kills, 12 assists and six digs. Kyan Hellmann made four kills, 14 assists and six digs and Holli Brus made six kills and four digs.

Ava Dunn contributed seven kills and a block, Anabeth Hylland made five kills and 12 digs while Linden Getnzkow made two blocks and Lauren Morea had 12 digs.

The Sailors sink to 8-10 and 1-2 in the conference.

Next up will be a conference match against Reeths-Puffer on Tuesday.
