The Mona Shores volleyball traveled to East Grand Rapids on Saturday for a non conference invite.

The Sailors went 0-3-1 on the day, splitting their opening match with Jenison 25-12, 19-25, while falling to West Catholic 25-11, 25-18, and Cadillac 25-16, 25-18. 

In bracket play, Mona Shores fell to Kenowa Hills in a tight match with set scores of 25-22 and 25-23.

Multiple girls produced on the court for the Sailors in the tournament.

Grace Norris made 31 assists, 30 digs and 12 kills, Ava Dunn had 21 kills and five blocks, Ali Trautner got 21 digs and 12 kills and Anabeth Hylland had 11 kills, ten digs and made seven blocks.

Kyan Hellmann also contributed 29 assists, 11 digs and six kills.

Mona Shores (8-14-1, 1-3) next hosts Muskegon on Tuesday to continue O-K Green matchups.
