The Muskegon Catholic Crusaders volleyball team fought hard but narrowly lost to Wyoming Tri-unity Christian in four games (25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23) on Tuesday.
Contributing for the Crusaders was Emma Maierhauser with six aces and 13 digs. Ella Muskovin had three aces, Clare LaVigne had 20 assists, three aces, four kills, and two blocks while Erin LaVigne had 14 kills and three digs.
The Crusaders drop to 9-7 on the season.
Thursday, Muskegon Catholic hosts the Oakridge Eagles and plays its first Lakes 8 conference game Tuesday, September 14, against Manistee.
