North Muskegon doubles teams step up in win over Maple City Glen Lake, tie Ludington

The North Muskegon boys tennis team’s doubles partners made up for the team’s struggles in singles action, pulling out a win against Maple City Glen Lake, 5-3, on Thursday.

Grayson Hinton and Gus West took No. 1 in doubles for the Norsemen and taking No. 2 was Gavin Grimm and Will Ripple.

North Muskegon improves to 2-9-3 on the season and hosts Grant on Monday, September 13.

On Wednesday,  North Muskegon and Ludignton boys tennis teams found themselves in a stalemate as they go even with a draw 4-4.

The Norsemen dominated and took all four spots in the singles and the Orioles took all four in the doubles.

North Muskegon is now 1-9-3.
