Quarterback Owen Worthington ran for a pair of first-half touchdowns while running back Ryan Francis ran for two in the fourth quarter to lead Grand Haven to a 28-7 win over West Ottawa.

In its second O-K Red matchup, the Buccaneers’ defense held West Ottawa scoreless through three quarters behind eight tackles from Bode Wilson, six from Jaxon Franz and five from both Gaven Strong and Gus Abraham.

Abraham added a sack and a tackle for a loss for Grand Haven (3-1, 2-0 O-K Red). Braydon Kunde got two tackles, one sack and a tackle for loss while Eli Zisca also recorded a sack that caused lost yards in the win.

Worthington was 6-of-11 for 86 yards passing and ran the ball 16 times for 56 yards. Francis, meanwhile, ran for 105 yards on 17 carries.

Bashir Neely caught three passes for 62 yards for Grand Haven, which will continue league play hosting Grandville on Friday.
