Reeths-Puffer ran into a powerful Zeeland West team at home in an O-K Green matchup on Friday and lost 48-8. 
The Rockets (2-3) trailed just 6-0 after the first quarter but allowed a pair of Dux touchdowns before halftime.
Reeths-Puffer answered just before the break on a touchdown run from junior quarterback Brady Ross. Senior Jarren Vandenberg tacked on the 2-point conversion and it was 22-8.
Zeeland West then added another score right before halftime, leading 28-8.
Reeths-Puffer Coach Matt Bird’s team drove inside the Zeeland West red zone multiple times, but could not score.
The Dux started the second half with an early score and never looked back.
The Rockets next face rival Mona Shores for a Week 6 O-K Green matchup.
