Reeths-Puffer goes 2-1 at home quad, opens OK Green action next week

The Reeths Puffier volleyball team went 2-1 in a home quad on Tuesday bringing it to 2-3 on the season.

The Rockets dominated Comstock Park in the opening match with set scores of 25-13 and 25-17, and then topped Ludington 22-25, 26-24, 15-11. Against Fruitport, Reeths-Puffer won the opener 25-15, but fell 26-24, 15-11 in the final two matches. 

Leaders for the Rockets were Allie McManus with 73 assists and three blocks. Brianna Stawski had 42 kills and four blocks, Leah Ellis made 30 digs and five aces while Sophia Hekkema contributed 23 kills and six blocks.

Reeths Puffer oopens OK Green conference play next Thursday at home against Wyoming.
