Spring Lake falls to Coopersville volleyball in four

Spring Lake volleyball lost to a competitive Coopersville squad in four sets in an O-K Blue matchup on Tuesday.

The Lakers fell in four games with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-27 and 25-19.

The Lakers were led by Kalli Lewkowski who made 12 kills and Nicole Schmitt who had 11.

The Laker defense was kept alive by Mean Bait with 17 digs while Kendra Kieft and Brooke Bolthouse added 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

Kyla Kobylak offered up 29 assists for the Lakers.

Spring Lake is visiting West Catholic on Thursday for an O-K Blue Conference matchup.
