Spring Lake volleyball goes 2-1 at Saturday quad, next host Coopersville

Spring Lake volleyball went 2-1 on Saturday at a Montague quad invite.

The Lakers posted victories over Holton (25-14, 25-17, 25-15) and Montague (23-25, 25-17, 25-15).

The Lakers fell just short against Ludington falling with set scores of 25-21, 23-25 and 25-15.

Kally Lewkowski led the Lakers offense with  28 kills. Ella Andree followed with 17 kills and Kendra Kieft had 12 aces and 45 digs. Kyla Kobylak offered up 53 assists for Spring Lake.

Emma Nicles made five blocks while Anna Fumarolo had four.

Spring Lake is 8-10 for the season and will host Coopersville on Tuesday for an O-K Blue Conference showdown.
