Whitehall and Shelby volleyball battled against each other in a West Michigan Conference match up Tuesday.

The Vikings pulled out the win after battling Shelby in five games. Whitehall fell in the opener 25-13, won Games two and three with scores of 25-18 and 25-21, dropped Game four 25-23 and the final 15-8.

Ryleigh Mott led Whitehall defense, getting 20 digs.

Charley Klint made 15 kills and Rayne Thompson had 14 kills. Sidney Shepherd made three blocks and Maggie Evans paced the offense with 48 assists and had 14 digs.

With the win, the Vikings stay undefeated in the conference and move to 18-2 for the season.
