Grand Haven, Spring Lake and North Muskegon are the three local boys soccer teams left standing as regionals commence this week.

All three will be in action Tuesday night in regional semifinal.

In Division 1, Grand Haven will travel to Kentwood to take on fellow OK-Conference foe East Kentwood at 5 p.m. The Buccaneers bring a 10-8-2 record into the game, while No. 8 ranked East Kentwood sports a 17-1-2 record.

The winner will advance on to the regional finals on Thursday evening to take on the winner of the Okemos-Traverse City West winner.

In Division 2, the Spring Lake Lakers (15-2-3) will battle Grand Rapids Christian in a regional semifinal game at Cedar Springs. Gametime is 5 p.m. The winner will advance to Thursday’s regional championship game to take on the winner of the Petoskey-Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central contest. Spring Lake comes in ranked ninth in Division 2 while GR Christian is 13th.

In Division 4, North Muskegon will make the trip to Cadillac to take on McBain Northern Michigan Christian of the Northern Michigan Soccer League.

North Muskegon is 10-11-2, while eighth-ranked McBain Christian is 18-1-1. The game will be played at 5 p.m. at the Rotary Club Field.

The winner advances to the regional finals on Thursday to take on the winner of the game between Buckley and Wyoming Potter’s House, which is ranked sixth in the division.
