Hart volleyball battles against Ravenna, falls in five

The Hart volleyball team fell in a long battle with West Michigan Conference foe Ravenna on Wednesday.

The Pirates fought through five games, but fell 25-22, 13-25, 16-25, 25-21 and 15-8.

Finley Kistler made 20 assists, 13 digs, one kill and scored an ace while Audrey Aerts had 12 digs, six kills, made four blocks and posted two aces.

Also producing for the Pirates Kloe Klotz made 17 digs, five kills and an ace, Mariana VanAgtmael got 12 digs and scored an ace, Abby Hicks made four kills, four digs and an assist and Morland Gamble had six digs and posted an ace.

The Rockets drop to 9-14-3 and remains winless in the WMC with an 0-6 record.

Reeths-Puffer will take a trip to Big Rapids Crossroad Academy on Saturday.
