In their final match of the regular season, the Muskegon Community College volleyball team ended the night with a road victory over Kellogg Community College on Wednesday.

Each set was tight but the Jayhawks battled to finish on top after four games, 25-16, 23-25, 25-14 and 30-28.

Multiple players led the Jayhawks to victory.

Raegan Murphy led the Jayhawks with 54 assists, nine digs, seven kills, four aces and three blocks. Reilly Murphy had 18 kills, 11 digs, four blocks and two aces, Bridget McHugh got 17 kills and seven blocks, and Alicia Mumby had 12 kills and three blocks.

Also leading the Jayhawks was Autumn Sharlow with six kills, Maddy Wynn made 16 digs and an ace, Meghan Heiss had 27 digs, Alexis Strait posted 18 digs and Lindsey Ruiter finished with four blocks.

With the win, the Jayhawks improve to 21-9 and 11-3 in conference. MCC next travels to Port Huron for regionals on Thursday, November fourth.
