The 2021 high school football playoffs are back and they are in action.

Mona Shores returned to the post-season field to defend its back-to-back state championship honors. Most fans knew the Sailors had a chance to win, while most were also surprised by how well their defense stepped up against playoff rival, GR Forrest Hills Central.

The powerful Muskegon Catholic Central also returned to the gridiron to start its campaign for Ford Field. The Crusaders cruised in Division 7.
