The Mason County Central volleyball team dropped rival Mason County Eastern in four matches on Wednesday.

The Spartans cruised past the Cardinals with game scores of 25-8, 25-2, 22-25, 25-23. 

MCC Freshman Alayna Rafter played well, posting 14 aces and four digs while Tori Dunblaizer had seven digs, six kills, two blocks and scored an ace.

Amy Battice offered up four digs, two aces and a kill, Adria Quigley made five digs and four kills, Ashlyn McKay got four digs, a kill and an ace, Charlie Banks made 13 digs, two aces and a block, and Wren Nelson made four kills, three digs and a block.

Maxi Green also contributed four digs and four aces while Jessica Gerbers had nine digs.

“We are excited about this win,” said Spartan Coach Erin O’Harra. “ We worked trough some different lineups but came through pulling it together.”
