The Muskegon Community College womens volleyball team participated in the Raider Classic Tournament in Grand Rapids over the weekend, going 2-2 overall.
On Saturday, the Jayhawks downed Oakland Community College (23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-14) and lost to No. 5 ranked Terra State (20-25, 21-25, 24-26).
The Jayhawks opened up Sunday with a loss to Waubonsee (22-25, 15-25, 19-25), but topped St. Clair County Community College (25-14, 25-18, 25-22).
Raegan Murphy was all over the court for the Jayhawks posting 143 assists, 33 digs, 20 kills and seven aces.
Also adding to the team’s production was Reilly Murphy with 51 kills, 27 digs, eight blocks and four aces while Bridget McHugh had 35 kills, nine blocks and five aces.
Alicia Mumby made 37 kills and 20 blocks, Alexis Strait got 60 digs and 14 kills and Maddy Wynn and Meghan Heiss had 53 and 47 digs respectively.
