The Montague Volleyball team went 2-1 on Wednesday at a home quad match against North Muskegon, Ludington and Grandville Calvin Christian.

The Wildcats opened against North Muskegon but fell 25-17, 18-25, and 25-18. In the second match they faced Ludington coming out on top 23-25, 25-17, and 25-15. 

Montague snuck out with a win against Calvin, 25-17, 24-26, 25-23. 

Montague was led by Jaelyn Sundberg with 77 assists, seven digs, two blocks, a kill and an ace, Anastasia Trevino with 32 kills and seven blocks and Britta Johnson with 22 kills, five digs and a block. Alissa Wynn also led with 22 digs and seven aces.

Ally Collins posted six aces and four digs, Ella King added five digs, four assists and three aces, Emma Peterson had 13 digs and two aces, and Mazie Collings made seven kills for Montage.

Morgan Netcott recorded a whopping 69 digs, had four assists, two aces and a kill while Peyton Johnson got 17 kills, 13 digs, seven aces and three blocks.

Montague opens up district tournament action at Spring Lake on Monday, November 1st.
