The Muskegon Heights football team dropped a tough 41-14 decision to host Carson City-Crystal in a non-conference matchup on Friday.

The Tigers fell behind 6-0 after the first quarter and trailed 19-0 by halftime. 

Muskegon Heights’ ground game struggled, netting just five yards on 17 carries. 

Damond Davis helped Tigers (4-3) respond in the second half catching a TD pass in the third and fourth quarters. Davis finished with 111 yards receiving and also made 10 tackles on defense.

Anthony Floyd led the Tigers’ defense with 14 tackles.
