No. 11 ranked MCC womens soccer team tops Schoolcraft in final minutes on Saturday

The No. 11 ranked Muskegon Community College Jayhawks womens soccer team posted a tight 2-1 win at Schoolcraft on Saturday.

The win lifts MCC to 9-2 overall this season.

Sammy Hecht lifted the Jayhawks to victory on a goal in the waning minutes of the game. Payton McKellar assisted on the play. 

Nora Brown gave the Jayhawks a 1-0 first half lead by netting a goal off an assist from Hecht only 2 minutes into the match. 

MCC allowed a Schoolcraft goal minutes later, and played to a 1-1 tie at halftime.

Muskegon Community College will be at Lakeland Community College on Saturday.
