Spring Lake volleyball tops rival Fruitport in five-game showdown

In a thrilling five-set showdown, Spring Lake volleyball topped rival Fruitport on Tuesday.

The Lakers won with set scores of 25-21, 29-31, 25-23, 28-30 and 15-13.

Kyla Kobylak led the Lakers with 54 assists and 14 digs while sophomore Kalli Lewkowski had 23 kills and four aces. Ella Andree finished with 16 kills.

Also contributing in the Laker’s court production was Kendra Kieft with 32 digs, Meah Bajt had 17 digs, and Brooke Bolthouse added 14 digs.

Spring Lake moves on in the O-K Blue Conference Tournament to face off at Hamilton.
