Grand Haven struggled holding onto the ball as four interceptions doomed the Bucs against host East Kentwood on Friday.

Owen Worthington threw four interceptions, including a fourth quarter pick six, as the Buccaneers struggled offensively in the 26-7 loss to East Kentwood.

The Buccaneers trailed 19-0 at halftime before getting on the board with a 4-yard touchdown run by Ryan Francis in the third quarter. Francis ran for 167 yards on 24 attempts including the touchdown. Worthington had 18 carries for 91 yards and a long run of 34 yards.

The Buccaneers’ defense had a strong showing despite allowing 19 offensive points on the evening. Bode Wilson and Dayne Arnett led the way with six tackles. Rob Tayler had six tackles with two sacks.

Grand Haven (3-5 , 2-4 OK-Red) will host Rockford in its regular season finale next week.
