Grand Haven shut down Reeths-Puffer in its Division 1 district volleyball opener on Monday. The Bucs won in three straight games to advance in the tournament acton.
Reeths-Puffer finishes its season 22-20 to a Grand Haven team that is going for 14-straight district titles.
Grand Haven won 25-23, 25-18 and 25-15.
The Bucs advance to in Wednesday’s 7 p.m. semifinal match against Coopersville at Mona Shores.
Reeths-Puffer was led by Leah Ellis with 13 digs, six kills and an ace, Brianna Stawski had 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks and Sophia Hekkema added 14 digs, six kills and three aces.
