The Lady Jayhawks basketball team has opened their season strong taking wins in all three games so far putting them at 3-0 for the season so far.

MCC added the third victory on Friday when they took down Hope College JV at home in non-conference action 80-73 in an electrifying nail biter.

The Jayhawks trailed after the first half by just two points and after halftime both teams went at it going back and forth forcing the game to double overtime.

Luckily MCC capitalized on crucial free throws in the second overtime allowing them to take the lead and pull out the victory.
