Spring Lake volleyball rolls past Montague in first round of districts

Shutting out Montague in three games, Spring Lake volleyball advanced to the next round of the Division 2 district tournament.

The Lakers downed the Wildcats 25-17, 25-21 and 25-15.

From the service line, both Kendra Kieft and Brooke Bolthouse scored four aces a piece.

Also producing offensively for the Lakers Anna Fumarolo got 11 kills, Kalli Lewkowski had eight kills and Ella Andree made six kills. Kyla Kobylak delivered 27 assists for the Laker’s offense.

Leading for the defense Bolthouse got 17 digs while Kieft and Meat Bait each offered up 16 digs.

Spring Lake will play host to the Whitehall Vikings on Wednesday for the next round of districts.
