GRAND RAPIDS–The Kent City girls basketball team continued their hot streak as they downed Forest Hills Eastern 59-49 in the Holiday Tournament at Cornerstone University on Monday.

It was a dominating scoring effort by Lexie Bowers and Madelyn Geers who combined for 45 points with Bowers and Geers scoring 24 points and 21 points respectively to combine for almost three quarters of the Eagle’s points in the tournament win.

Kent City is now 6-0 on the season and will take on Grand Rapids Catholic on Wednesday in the final round of the Holiday Tournament at Cornerstone University.
