The Fruitport Calvary Christian boys basketball team used a strong performance by Bradley Richards to kick off its season with a dominant 77-35 rout over Pentwater on Monday.

The Eagles used a 22-7 second quarter run and a slight lead by the end of the first quarter to pull away.

Richards played all out with a double-double, tallying 27 points and 17 rebounds for Calvary.

Jacob May posted 13 points with 10 assists at the point for the Eagles while Ethan Cammenga offered up eight points and eight rebounds in the victory.

Calvary Christian doesn’t catch a break as they play their second game in back-to-back nights when they travel to Scottville to take on Mason County Central on Tuesday night for non-league play.
