It’s been a hot December for the Muskegon Lumberjacks. 
The Lumberjacks topped Youngstown 3-2 in an OT thriller on Friday night. The win was Muskegon’s seventh win in December and it came on a special New Year’s Eve game at Mercy Health Arena.
Muskegon now heads into Saturday’s 7:10 p.m. game sitting in third place of the Eastern Conference with 31 points, 12 points shy of first-place Chicago.
