The Mona Shores boys basketball team used an early lead and a 20-point night from Parker Swartz  to cruise past Cedar Springs with a 64-48 victory on Friday night.

The Sailors built a 21-12 first quarter lead and led 39-23 at halftime to secure the win.

Swartz tallied his 20 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the floor and also had four rebounds and two steals.

Mona Shores was also led by Ethan Kreuger with 13 points and Donovan Russell added seven points and seven rebounds. 

Mona Shores moves to 1-1 on the season and will be at home on Friday against Kenowa Hills.
