The Orchard View girls basketball team got handed their fourth loss of the season by Muskegon Heights on Friday with the Tigers controlling a 55-27 rout of the Cardinals.

The Cardinals fought hard to keep the game close and competitive and were down by only five points at half time with the score of 22-17.

The small deficit was short lived as the Tigers put their foot on the gas coming out of half time and never let up going up 41-23 after three quarters.

Putting points on the board for the Cardinals Grace Gardner scored eight points and Johnia Heath and Liz Estelle each added six points. Playing solid defense Mila Martin took down ten rebounds and made four blocks.

Orchard View drops to 0-4 and will travel to Muskegon Catholic Central on Friday.

Muskegon Heights opened up their season with a Lakes 8 victory and are now 1-0. The Tigers will take on Godwin Heights on Tuesday.
