Bradley Richards and a Fruitport Calvary Christian offensive eruption lifted the Eagles to a 73-62 win over Wellspring Prep on Friday.
The freshman Richards, drained a buzzer beating 3-pointer to force OT for the Eagles. In the extra period, Calvary Christian went on an 11-0 run to close out the game.
Leading Calvary Christian with a game-high 32 points was Richards who also grabbed 15 rebounds.
Ethan Cammenga also had a huge night for the Eagles, tallying 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Calvary Christian’s offense was run through point-guard Jacob May who dished out 10 assists with his 11 points. Raj Grewel played big on the boards with 11 rebounds.
Fruitport Calvary Christian raises it’s record to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in Alliance-League action. The Eagles’ next matchup is next week at Holton.
