The Fremont bowling team went 1-1 to the visiting Holton Red Devils at Northway Lanes on Wednesday evening.

Starting slow, the Packer girls dropped their first Baker game of the day by nine points but came back to win the next for a 6-4 lead. The girls went 1-1 in the regular games, winning the overall match 19-11.

Adena Tedford led the way for Fremont, bowling a game of 138 while Rhiannon Ziebke followed close behind with a game of 130.

The boys squad had a tougher match. They struggled right away, losing both of the Baker games to start in a 10-0 hole. The bad luck only continued for the Packers as they stumbled in both regular games to drop the match 25-5.

One pin shy of 200, Andrew Lyon led for the boys rolling a 199 game while Gabe VanVleet had a game of 150.
