The Fruitport bowling team breezed past Grand Rapids Union on Monday as they capped off the day with a dominating 2-0 sweep.

The girls squad crushed the Red Hawks not giving up a single point with a 30-0 rout. Raegan Dykstra led the way bowling games of 180 and 165 while Brynna Hanson threw a 157 and Rylee Lusk added a game of 148.

Like the girls, the boys almost recorded a perfect match but were just one point shy with a score of 29-1. Leading for the boys was Jray Conklin with a series of 213 and 180 while Brandon Krohn bowled games of 209 and 162. Also chipping in was Gage Wadland throwing 196.

Fruitport will be back to action on Tuesday to face-off with Wyoming at Spectrum Lanes.
