Holton vs. Fremont Bowling Results

The Holton bowling team went 1-1 on Wednesday evening when they faced off with the Fremont Packers.

The girls squad for the Red Devils fell short losing to the Packers with a score of 19-11. Kenidie Shank led the way for Holton bowling games of 133 and 128.

It was a different story for the boys, however, as they went on to win a 25-5 rout over the Packers. Out front for the boys was Bo Larabee who bowled 184 and Tuff Scott followed behind scoring 175.

Holton will compete again this weekend when they travel to Kent City to take on the Eagles Saturday.

Fruitport Bowling

The Fruitport Trojan’s bowling team had a 1-1 split on Wednesday night in their competition with Hudsonville Unity Christian.

Maintaining their place at number one, the boys squad dominated the Crusaders bowling their way to a strong 27-3 win. Brandon Krohn had his best outing of the year for the Trojans with games of 225 and 244. 

Also adding in to the win, Gage Wadland bowled 178 while Mason Murphy had a 161.

The girls squad struggled falling 27-3 but Brynna Hanson still had another solid night as she extended her conference singles lead bowling games of 212 and 188. Raegan Dykstra and Riley Lusk also contributed with games of 153 and 132 respectively.

Fruitport will be back in the lanes on Monday as they travel to battle Wyoming at Spectrum Lanes.
